I fell in love with this blues! =)
Hi, Adam! I’m from Russia, and I really like the saxophone. This tutorial really helped me, thank you! When I watched the lesson, I think it’s very cool, but where the music …? Beginner to pick up on this rumor hard. But at the end of the lesson you have shown the notes on paper, it’s great. I am writing this through google translator, so my English is much bad. = (((

Hey Alex
Glad you like the video. If you have a great sound there is probably no need to change, just make sure you are using a nice free-blowing embouchure, (check out Joe Allard).
Most pro players use 3 or 3.5 reeds, but talk to your local music shop sax player/reed salesman and your teacher if you have one, everyone is happy to share their knowledge.
I use a Richie Cole model Meyer 5 M-M mouthpiece, a Vandoren Revoution III ligature and Vandoren 3.5 traditional reeds
@adamconnellymusic what reeds are you using? im currently using a 2 vandoren, been playing since september last year, everyone says i have suck good sound and that i should try a thicker reed, should i exceed to a 3 or a 2 1/2? and can you please send me the sheet music? nice playing btw haha

HI brandojazz
I do have the dots for this, and you are welcome give me a message with you email in it, so I can send you the PDF.
And thanks for the suggestion of the bebop licks, I will put that on the (long) list of things to do.
Cheers
Adam
Hey man I think ur video is pretty awesome. It has great blues licks AND u play them for us, meaning that its way better because we can copy the style of music too, not just the notes.Congrats!
But I was wondering u had a video like this one with 10 bebop licks?? If u do it would be super awesome if u do. If u dont I would suggest u maybe doing a video like that, it would be super awesome, I would totally steal some lick from someone like u!
congrats again.
